I am absolutely blown away by the quality and craftmanship offered by Cecily Clune bags. The Luna bag in ultramatte black comes in a unique rubberised leather that is soft to touch. The size of the bag is smaller than I had imagined but spacious enough to fit in a small purse, phone (as large as a samsung ultra), keys and lip-balm. Every design element, material, hardware ... down to its stitching and dust bag shows how much attention is given to its small details.
My only *criticism* (if I am being very nit-picky) is that the ultra-matte leather on a very structured bag takes away some of the attention on the lizard print leather by making it look somewhat 'flat' (for lack of a better word). I'm curious to see if this changes over time with more wear. I'd also be interested to see if a rubberised leather could be made a little less matte-finished to give it more dimension with a 'skin-like' finish that has a very subtle glow.
Thank you Libby for creating such a wonderful bag that is proudly Australian owned! There's certain not many in the Australian market that comes anywhere close to what Cecily Clune has to offer in terms of price and quality. I look forward to seeing many more creations from you!

My iPhone pro fits in the back pocket when I want it close at hand, but only upright not horizontally.
I’m so glad I purchased the Ultramatte Lizard print. Very unique & a lovely tactile feel to it.
I’m 172cm & it is very comfortable to wear crossbody or as a shoulder bag with it’s adjustable strap.
My second Cecily Clune bag & it won’t be my last.

The lock was designed by Cecily Clune and tooled by specialist hardware engineers in Rhode Island , USA. with the design brief to have real rivets and resemble a medieval door or shield and be coated in soft buttery 14k gold.

I love having something unique and different from what my friends and others have. I was googling for the unique black hexagon bucket bag shown in Netflix Korean drama 'Dali & Cocky Prince, instead, I found 'Katherine' which looks beautifully crafted.
When I received it, I carefully checked around, the stitches, the brass parts, the liner and the leather... and I really get what it's shown on Cecily website.

The daffodil clutch holds all my essentials perfectly - two pairs of glasses, a phone, and some makeup. The design is really creative and functional, and a small issue with my order was fixed quickly and generously.

The bag is actually smaller than it looks online which is a good thing! It’s just a perfect size for making it super versatile. It’s big enough for all my essentials to wear to work (phone, keys, 2 pairs of glasses, wallet etc) but small enough for going out, too. I love the handles and internal key ring, details that make it so comfy to wear and use. Design details, quality and workmanship is next level. I absolutely love it 😍

Stunning bag. It’s a beautiful and functional make with a luxurious feel and look. Its fits my small wallet, keys, phone and lipstick with ease. The structured nature of the bag, the finishings and the lining, while simple things are what makes this bag special to me. The fun colour options are the cherry on top, uplifting even the most basic of outfits. It’s my second CC bag and each purchase is attached to a special occasion so it’s even more treasured.
