I purchased the Florence East West bag. Wonderfully smart bag to take to an interview or for that night out, Florence is large enough to hold all your essentials, phone, change purse, cards, glasses etc. Beautiful leather and the lining is a stunner. Hardware suits the bag, subtle and not flash and gaudy. I am ecstatic with my Florence!!

A truly artisanal bag

Every component of the Florence East West has been carefully designed by Cecily Clune and made by artisans to create something unique.

The lock was designed by Cecily Clune but tooled by specialist hardware engineers in Rhode Island, USA. It had to have real rivets and resemble a medieval door or shield and be coated in soft buttery 14k gold.

Made with care and intent

Libby, our Creative Director, supervised the colouring of the leather in the tannery. Here you can see the black 'tipping' being applied over the dark navy leather to give it a subtle hue.
Every detail was managed to make it an artisanal bag of the highest quality.

What a Bag

Beautiful and so Unique

While on a holiday in Australia I was shown your website, by my sister in-law I loved that website!! So, I ordered the Katherine bag for my youngest daughter who loves unique, quality, and beautiful things. When I arrived back to NZ I waited patiently and tracked my order it was a special surprise for my girl. I had decided if by some unforeseen chance she didn't like it I was going to keep it for me! She loved her bag, everything was as described and absolutely perfect Shes keeping it! so now I will have to order a bag for myself, but it is very difficult to make a choice and I am still undecided which one that will be, because they are all so beautiful...

Gorgeous quality and feel

I was after a beautiful classic wallet and Cecily Clune delivered! Arriving beautifully packed and in it's very own dust bag, this beauty holds more than I anticipated and is the perfect size, sliding into the smaller bags I use, too! I love the red inside, it's striking along with the gold bee (and I have gold bees on everything including my wedding ring so very appreciate that sweet yet subtle brand detail). I'll be back...

I had been looking and thinking about one of these bags for a long time. Finally I bought the Katherine in black (I love epi leather) but I decided to gift it to a younger lady . She did not know it was arriving, after a long week working and studying , she got home and found the parcel and I got this txt message: OMG the Bag!!! I LOVE IT, thank you (heart). Finally, I 'meet' my Katherine

I love having something unique and different from what my friends and others have. I was googling for the unique black hexagon bucket bag shown in Netflix Korean drama 'Dali & Cocky Prince, instead, I found 'Katherine' which looks beautifully crafted.
When I received it, I carefully checked around, the stitches, the brass parts, the liner and the leather... and I really get what it's shown on Cecily website.
'She' is a real Beauty and Elegant. Tilly is also cute. Love it too.
