A truly artisanal bag
Every component of the Florence East West has been carefully designed by Cecily Clune and made by artisans to create something unique.
The lock was designed by Cecily Clune but tooled by specialist hardware engineers in Rhode Island, USA. It had to have real rivets and resemble a medieval door or shield and be coated in soft buttery 14k gold.
Made with care and intent
Libby, our Creative Director, supervised the colouring of the leather in the tannery. Here you can see the black 'tipping' being applied over the dark navy leather to give it a subtle hue.
Every detail was managed to make it an artisanal bag of the highest quality.

The bag is actually smaller than it looks online which is a good thing! It’s just a perfect size for making it super versatile. It’s big enough for all my essentials to wear to work (phone, keys, 2 pairs of glasses, wallet etc) but small enough for going out, too. I love the handles and internal key ring, details that make it so comfy to wear and use. Design details, quality and workmanship is next level. I absolutely love it 😍

Stunning bag. It’s a beautiful and functional make with a luxurious feel and look. Its fits my small wallet, keys, phone and lipstick with ease. The structured nature of the bag, the finishings and the lining, while simple things are what makes this bag special to me. I've been on the hunt for a great clutch that is fashionable yet practical. When I saw the William Clutch, I knew that was it! It did not disappoint at all. The leather is beautiful and very similar to the leather used on my Tod's wallet. I love how the interior of the clutch is lined too. It's just big enough for all things.
